MJH at the Aurora AwardsAugust 7, 2017
Marc Julien Homes has received years of recognition for our impeccable work here in the South Florida area, but last month we received statewide recognition at the Aurora Awards. Each year beginning in 1979, the Southeast Building Conference and the Florida Home Builders Association have joined together to acknowledge the work of builders, planners, architects, developers, and designers all throughout Florida. There are 55 categories available for nomination, ranging from sustainability to overall design to encompass all aspects of residential real estate, commercial real estate, and remodeling.
Marc Julien Homes was recognized for the design and building of our 103 Bears Club project. MJH project coordinator Kirsten Schultz oversaw this 12,676 square-foot contemporary home project, but a home this large required contributions from the entire team. Three of our employees, Emelia, Natalie and Stuart, made the trip up to Orlando, Florida to proudly represent Marc Julien Homes and accept our Aurora Award.
This year’s Aurora Awards gala was held at the Gaylord Palms Resort Convention Center in Orlando, Florida. Our staff had the honor of networking with incredible designers, builders, and architects. “It was such a great experience,” says Natalie Tannous, “I loved the opportunity to meet other individuals in the industry and celebrate such a huge accomplishment. We are all very proud of our work with 103 Bears Club.”
